In his Budget Statement on 22 April 2009, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced a number of changes to tax rates and allowances for taxpayers with income over £100,000. Although some of the finer detail has yet to emerge, the Local Government Employers (LGE) prepared a summary of the information issued immediately following the Budget statement.
