RE-JOINING THE SCHEME
You can re-join the Scheme after previously 'opting out' of membership. If you wish to do so, please contact your employer.
Combining with previous Scheme membership
If you choose to join the Scheme again, you will normally have only TWELVE MONTHS from the date you join, to combine any deferred benefits you have with your new membership. If you have more than one set of deferred benefits, different rules may apply to each.
You must apply to combine benefits, they will NOT be combined automatically by the Fund. Your benefits will then be based upon your entire period of Scheme membership and linked to your final pay on leaving your job.
To combine deferred benefits with a period of new membership you must complete, sign and return Membership Form LGP2 to your employer's payroll section.
