RETIREMENT PACKS FOR MEMBERS

The Fund produces packs of information for members to use in both planning for, and during, their retirement. If you are over age 58 and would like some helpful literature, you can request a 'Retirement Pack' from your Pension Liaison Officer, who is normally based in either your Finance or Personnel department.We hope that you will find this pack useful in your preparations for retirement - it contains guides and forms that are relevant to a very important time of life, and we at the Fund endeavour to help you as much as possible.

![]() A practical booklet which explains the processes of retirement, the options you have, how your pension relates to other benefits, taxation, the effect of other employment.

| The Death Grant Expression of Wish Form - LGP25 |
![]() This form gives you the opportunity to express your wish as to who would benefit from the payment of three years’ pay, should you die in service, or the balance of 10 years worth of your pension, should you die within 10 years of retiring.

| The Cohabiting Partners Nomination Form - LGP25a |
![]() If you are not married or part of a registered civil partnership, but currently living with a ‘partner’, you can, by completing the Cohabiting Partners Nomination for Survivor’s Pension form, name a ‘survivor’ who, in the event of your death and provided the required criteria are satisfied at the tie of your death, would be eligible to receive a Survivor’s Pension payable for life.
