The Fund has published its annual newsletter for LGPS pensioners, ‘The Honeypot’. This issue's leading article describes the 1.7% increase to local government pensions from 7 April 2025. A printed copy of this newsletter will be posted to pensioners very shortly.

The Government has confirmed that local government pensions will rise by 1.7% from 7 April 2025. Local government pensions are increased each year in line with the cost of living to maintain their spending power.
